Forwarding bytes from an input stream to an output stream requires parsing JSON-RPC messages because some parsers (such as the parser in lsp4s) depend on the frequence and order of flush invocations.

Forwarding bytes from an input stream to an output stream requires parsing JSON-RPC messages because some parsers (such as the parser in lsp4s) depend on the frequence and order of flush invocations.

For example, if we flush in the middle of a JSON message, the parser will interpret that as the end of the message and circe will fail to parse.

Parsing these messages looks like the most robust way of forwarding messages without special casing for a concrete client implementation. The performance of this solution has not been benchmarked but it should not be a problem in the large scheme of things -- this is not a bottleneck.

    in

The input stream from where we read messages.

    out

The output stream where we write messages.
