setJsonEngine

public static void setJsonEngine(JsonUtils.JsonEngine jsonEngine)

Sets the JSON engine. Default is Gson.

Parameters:

jsonEngine -

getJsonReader

public static AwsJsonReader getJsonReader(Reader in)

Gets a JSON reader. If no JSON engine is available, an AmazonClientException will be thrown.

Parameters:

in - reader

Returns:

a JSON reader

getJsonWriter

public static AwsJsonWriter getJsonWriter(Writer out)

Gets a JSON writer. If no JSON engine is available, an AmazonClientException will be thrown.

Parameters:

out - writer

Returns:

a JSON writer

jsonToMap

public static Map<String,String> jsonToMap(Reader in)

Convenient method to convert a JSON string to a map. Any object or array will be discarded. Number and boolean are stored as string.

Parameters:

in - reader

Returns:

a non null, unmodifiable, string to string map
