A place for static default implementations of the new Java 8 default interface methods and static interface methods in the Consumer interface.

Method Detail

andThen

public static <T> Consumer<T> andThen(Consumer<? super T> this_,
                                      Consumer<? super T> after)

Returns a composed Consumer that performs, in sequence, the this_ operation followed by the after operation. If performing either operation throws an exception, it is relayed to the caller of the composed operation. If performing the this_ operation throws an exception, the after operation will not be performed.

Type Parameters:

T - the type of the input to the operations

Parameters:

this_ - the operation to perform before the after operation

after - the operation to perform after the this_ operation

Returns:

a composed Consumer that performs in sequence the this_ operation followed by the after operation

Throws:

NullPointerException - if this_ is null

NullPointerException - if after is null
