Event names are subject to the same rules as <a href="https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-specification/tree/v1.31.0/specification/common/attribute-naming.md">attribute names. Notably, event names are namespaced to avoid collisions and provide a clean separation of semantics for events in separate domains like browser, mobile, and kubernetes.
